Our Students Attended the Opening Ceremony and Planting Activity at Yan Cheung Road Park

Our school was honoured to be invited by the Central Kowloon Route Construction Team to attend the Yan Cheung Road Park Opening Ceremony on 6 October. Eight Primary 3 and Primary 4 student representatives took part in this meaningful community event. They witnessed the opening of this new green community space and had the privilege of planting flower seedlings alongside Mr Thomas Yiu Cheuk-hang, Permanent Secretary for Transport and Logistics, and Mr Wayne Chiu Kwok-ting, Director of Highways. Our students conducted themselves confidently and respectfully, demonstrating a strong sense of community engagement.

During the planting activity, the students became young community gardeners, helping to loosen the soil, plant seedlings, and water the plants. Through this valuable hands-on experience, they not only learned about gardening but also developed a deeper appreciation for environmental protection and community care.
